About the iPlanet Application Server Instance

Use the iPlanet Application Server Instance to create local or remote server instances to deploy your modules or web applications to.

Right-click to add a local or remote server instance. The instance is created with the default values identified in the iPlanet Application Server Registry.

Once you have created a local or remote server instance you can: <
Set as Default Sets the selected instance as the default instance to deploy to the iPlanet Application Server.
Refresh List Reads the instances registered in the iPlanet Application Server Registry and refreshes the Server Instance nodes accordingly.
Server Status Opens a status dialog allowing you to start, stop, or restart the KAS Administrative server engine.
Delete Removes the currently selected instance.
Properties Opens the property sheet for the selected instance.
