Description Events (generally failures) caused by CPU System Boards with CPU slots (even if the board contains SBus, PCI, or cPCI slots).

    Notes The Unplanned - System Hardware Failure cause code contains codes for CPU System Boards, I/O Boards, and System Interface Boards. Use these three cause codes according to the following rules:

    1. If a CPU is on or can be inserted onto the board, use Unplanned - System Hardware Failure - CPU System Board for unplanned events for the board (even if the board contains SBus, PCI, or cPCI slots).
    2. If the board contains only SBus, PCI, or cPCI slots, use Unplanned - System Hardware Failure - System Interface Board for unplanned events for the board.
    3. For all unplanned events for SBus, PCI, or cPCI cards, use Unplanned - System Hardware Failure - I/O Board.
