Oracle Solaris provides an easy-to-use graphical interface for installing and configuring the operating system. Whether you are using a CD/DVD to install Oracle Solaris from a locally attached CD/DVD drive or from an ISO file on a remote CD/DVD drive attached using RKVM, the installation procedure is fundamentally the same.
