Administering Printers by Using LP Print Commands (Tasks)

This chapter describes how to administer printers by using LP print commands.

Note - Starting with the Oracle Solaris 11 Express release, CUPS is the default print service. Before using LP print commands to set up and administer printers, you must first install the required software packages, then activate the LP print service. For more information, see Switching From CUPS to the LP Print Service.
