Editing an Element in a Documaker Document

You can edit elements in a Documaker document, including fields, triggers, graphics, sections, and paragraphs.

Note   When editing an element, note the various editing considerations.

To directly edit an element in a Documaker document

  1. In a Documaker document, click within the text of the element you want to edit.
  2. In the Edit group, click Edit.

-OR-

In the Documaker document, right-click the element and select Documaker > Edit Element.

An Edit dialog opens.

  1. Make any required changes to the Documaker properties of the element, then click OK.
  1. To edit the text inside a field, trigger, graphic, section, or paragraph element, click within the text area of the element just below the blue content control tab, and enter or edit the text within the blue contents rectangle:

  1. Click OK when done.
Tip You can also edit an element using the Element Tree.
