Each CPU module (CMOD) can support up to 32 DIMMs in two possible configurations: 16 or 32 total DIMMs. Supported DIMMs include single-, dual-, or quad-rank 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB JEDEC-standard, DDR3 low voltage ECC RDIMMs.
For specific details on supported DIMM configurations, refer to DIMM Population Rules.
Note - DIMMs are designated as a customer-replaceable unit (CRU).
