An asset is an object that forms part of an ATG application. An asset often represents a piece of content that you need to create or edit for display on a Web site—for example, a JPEG image, or a file containing press release text. A project can include personalization assets, such as scenarios, slots, content groups, and content targeters. If you have ATG Commerce, its assets are also available: product catalogs, price lists, and promotions.
