Like check in, asset deployment occurs automatically when the appropriate task in the project is completed. All project assets are deployed at the same time.
Although deployment starts automatically, the actual deployment process is configurable, varying among the different default workflows. The Standard workflow contains a simple deployment model that provides two choices: deploy immediately, or delay until a specified time. The Early Staged workflow lets you preview assets before they are deployed.
System administrators configure and monitor deployment through the Admin Console pages, which appear in the ATG Business Control Center if your user profile includes appropriate role access. For more information on using the Admin Console, see the ATG Content Administration Programming Guide.
