Stopping MySQL (Windows Only)

On Windows machines, you must stop the instance of MySQL that is installed with the ATG platform before you can delete the ATG directories:

To stop MySQL:

  1. Open the Task Manager, and then click the Processes tab.

  2. Select the mysql.exe process and click End Process.

  3. Click End Process again to confirm that you want to terminate the MySQL process.

  4. Close the Task Manager.
