Internet Explorer and ATG Applications

Internet Explorer 8 and 9 treat queries originating from the Internet and an intranet differently. They use the following settings by default:

ATG products follow the default settings. Compatibility View is not supported for use with external ATG applications (products that run on the production server). Compatibility View is required for use with internal ATG applications (products that run on the management server).

External applications: ATG Commerce Reference Store, Self Service

Internal applications: All other ATG products
