After you have created a layout template manifest file, as described in the Creating a Custom Portal chapter of the ATG Portal Development Guide, you can add the manifest file to the PAF to make the new layout template available to Community Leaders.
On the Portal Administration Home Page, click on the Styles tab.
The Page Templates page opens.
Click on the Layout Templates link in the side navigation panel.
Enter the location of the layout template manifest file in the text field, or use the Browse button to locate the file, then click Upload.
The layout template is added to the list of available layout templates on the page. You can use any of the listed layouts to design your portal pages.
