The ProfileUpdateTrigger
component defines methods that send JMS messages when a user or an administrator updates a profile by way of a profile form handler or multiple profile form handler (see Profile Form Handlers). You can then set up scenario events that are triggered when one of these messages is received. For example, you could create a scenario that sends an e-mail when a user changes his or her maritalStatus
property from “single” to “married”. For information on how to configure such a scenario, see Updates Profile Property in the Scenario Events section of the ATG Personalization Guide for Business Users.
The ProfileUpdateTrigger
component contains four properties that trigger the sending of different types of profile update message. All four properties are set to true by default, and each one has a corresponding event that you can include in scenarios. (For more information, see Using Scenario Events.)
The properties of the ProfileUpdateTrigger
