Battery Service Sequence
In the Sun Datacenter InfiniBand Switch 36 Service Manual for Firmware Version
2.1, the summary of the tasks to service the battery is in the incorrect
sequence. This table corrects the sequence.

Determine if the battery is faulty.

Power off both power supplies.

3.

Remove all data cables.

Remove the gateway from the rack.

Replace the battery.

Install the gateway in the rack.

Note -
Do not power on the gateway.
|

|
Install all Data cables.

Power on both power supplies.

Note -
You must completely power off the gateway before disconnecting the data
cables. Similarly, you must attach all data cables before powering on the
gateway.
