The following figures show a subset of the supported configurations for Oracle ZFS Storage ZS3-4 clustered controllers with two HBAs. To cable the controller to the disk shelves, use the Cabling Guidelines, which include the Maximum Number of Disk Shelves per Controller Configuration.
Using mixed disk shelves on a controller, requires the following:
The controller must use only 4X4 port SAS-2 HBAs
Do not use mixed disk shelves in the same chain
