IBM Netcool/OMNIbus Server Requirements

Ensure that the following server requirements are met for where the Netcool OMNIbus software is installed:

• Netcool/OMNIbus software version v7.1 or higher is installed and configured.

• IBM Netcool Knowledge Library (NcKL) v1.3 or higher is installed (SNMP Trapd processing rules).

• The name of the host server where the Netcool/OMNIbus software is installed and configured.

• Write access privileges on server where MTTrapd Probe is installed:

  • Log in access (root-level access or equivalent access level privileges)

  • Write permissions.
