All configuration PDomains contain either two or four DCUs. This allows for redundancy at the PDomain level, where you can have LDom configurations mirrored across the two or four DCUs in each PDomain. See Understanding PDomains and Understanding LDoms for more information.
If you choose two compute servers for your SuperCluster M6-32, you would also want to choose a configuration PDomain that takes advantage of the two compute servers that you would be using to provide high redundancy.
