Setting Up Printers by Using CUPS Print Manager (Task Map)

Configure a CUPS server to administer local print queues.
You can use CUPS Print Manager to configure a local server. The system acts as a local server for any printers that are physically connected to it and for any print queues that are created on that system.
Configure a CUPS server to administer remote print queues.
You can use CUPS Print Manager to connect to a remote system, where you can administer print queues. The remote system must be configured to allow remote administration.
Set up a new local printer.
When you connect a new printer to your local system, the printer is automatically detected and its Properties dialog opens. From here, you can finish configuring the new printer by using the CUPS Print Manager GUI .
