When an HAStoragePlus resource is configured for cluster file systems and brought online, it ensures that these file systems are available. The cluster file system is supported on a nonroot UNIX File System (UFS). Use HAStoragePlus with local file systems if the data service is I/O intensive. The cluster file systems can be configured for zone clusters in the HAStoragePlus resources using the loopback mount mechanism. The SUNW.HAStoragePlus resource type makes the cluster file system available to a zone cluster by mounting the file system in the global cluster. The resource type then performs a loopback mount on the zone cluster nodes where the resource group is online.
The cluster file systems configured in the HAStoragePlus resource type for zone clusters should be authorized for use in zone clusters by using the clzonecluster command.
