Release 4 of the Oracle Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel for Linux is supported in this release of the server software. Release 4 is installed by default on Oracle Linux 6.7 and 7.2 OS and can be installed on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7 and 7.2 OS. Release 4 contains improvements and new features that have been incorporated into mainline Linux since Release 3 of the kernel.
