MobileSync contains the Mobile Data Extraction component (alias MobileDbXtract), which is new. These four components were moved from the Siebel Remote component group: Database Extract, Parallel Database Extract, Transaction Processor, and Transaction Router. The BatchSync component was moved from the Handheld Synchronization component group.

  • For deployments of Siebel Mobile disconnected applications, you must enable the MobileSync component group. Other requirements apply.

  • For deployments of Siebel Remote or Siebel Replication Manager, you must enable both Siebel Remote and MobileSync. Other requirements apply.
