Child Labor Laws

On the Child Labor Law page, you can add a child labor law by clicking Add from the top menu bar. The page you are directed to has three tabs:

  1. General

  2. Overtime

  3. Work Restrictions

On these tabs, you can set up multiple age ranges (for example, 14-15, 16-17) using the minimum and maximum age fields to parallel the laws of your state. These tabs also allow you to:

  • Define the maximum consecutive days that a minor is allowed to work

  • Assign overtime work

  • Exclude minors from working on Sundays

  • Require a work permit or an age certificate
