Location Configuration Tab

The Location Configuration tab lets you configure an employee on a by location basis. You can assign an employee to work at more than one location. An employee can be a salaried manager at one location and an hourly chef at another location. Regardless of how many locations the employee is permitted to work, the employee must have only one home store. The location where the employee is clocked in determines what and how the employee is paid.

You can configure the following settings on the Location Configuration screen:
  • The stores or locations the employee works

  • The jobs the employee works at those stores

  • How much the employee is paid for the jobs

  • Location-specific POS settings

The Location Configuration tab has two secondary tabs:
  1. Job Rates

  2. POS Configuration
