What's New in Administration Guide for Oracle Billing Insight, Version 7.0

Table 1 lists changes described in this version of the documentation to support release 7.0 of the software.

About Oracle Billing Insight Jobs	Modified topic. Updated for using Oracle Data Integrator for data loading.
Billing Jobs	Modified topic. Updated to include the new ProvisioningData job.
ProvisioningData Job	New topic. Describes the new Command Center job, called ProvisioningData, for loading a provisioning data input file.
pmtPaymentReminder Job	Modified topic. The name of the default class that modifies the IPaymentReminderPlugIn plug-in has been updated.
pmtARIntegrator Job	Modified topic. The name of the default class for the IPaymentIntegrator interface has been modified.
pmtCreditCardExpNotify Job	Modified topic. The name of the default class for the pmtCreditCardExpNotify job has been modified.
About the Transaction Manager and Payment Cartridges Configuring a Payment Gateway	Modified topics. Updated for using the Chase Paymentech Orbital gateway on the Salem platform, which can process debit cards. Additional steps and parameters for configuring convenience payment support have been added. Also, the name of the default class for the IPaymentAccountAccessor interface has been modified for check and credit card gateway configurations.
Purging User Data Purging Statement and Invoice Fact Data Purging Sample Data	Modified topics. Updated for the new SQL script to purge sample data in a single step.
Loading Billing Data Into Oracle Billing Insight	New chapter. Describes how to load billing, unbilled, and prepay data into Oracle Billing Insight using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
Database Partitioning	New chapter. Topics about database partitioning have been moved to a separate chapter and updated for 7.0 database tables.

Additional Changes

This book also contains the following name changes in this version:

The product name changed to Oracle Billing Insight.
The Customer Service Representative application name changed to the Assisted Service application.
The Billing and Payment application name changed to the Self-Service application.
Chapter 3, Enrolling and Logging Into the Command Center, has been edited to clarify the process of creating system administrators as the bootstrap user.
