The program description is divided up as follows:
The data for a generic display can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed.
The interface and link to a processing unit must also be defined in addition to the device-specific data of the generic display and the device-specific operating mode of the display must be set.

Only select a value higher than "0" for
the debug level if a protocol is required for communication with the device for
error analysis. The data is provided in file "errlog" in directory work
of the appropriate system unit.

The prerequisite for selection of the display type is that the appropriate type
is stored in the system. If no display type has been programmed, a click on the

Attention! This Display type is only available if
the environment variable "OSCAR_OPTIONS=PanasonicHW" was set in the
file "oscar.ini".
For this display, the device character set 3 is (JS 935 Display) created, to control the display and the display of umlauts. The
new toggle, Activate
DTR and Activate RTS must be disabled, otherwise
the display remains inactive. As device interface, you must specify COM3.

Enter the number of the line which is to be used for the start of the scrolling area.

Enter the number of the line which is to be used for the end of the scrolling area. The value entered here must be higher than the one used for the start scroll area.
