The program description
deals with the following:
The data for an OPOS
display can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program.
Data which has already been stored can also be displayed for information.
Enter the number of the
device under which it is to be stored in the system. The interface and link to
a processing unit also have to be defined and the device-specific operating
mode set.
Note:
99 = zero should be selected as device interface for all OPOS devices.
The OPOS modules should
have been installed and configured if OPOS devices are to be operated.

and device names are listed in program regedit:
The
device names can be found in the left-hand directory in the device group for
the device concerned, e.g. "ADSTopCAshCentralLock".
The
linked service names can be found in the right-hand directory under the code
"Standard" = "ADSTopCash.CentralLock.1".

Note:
Only select a value
higher than "0" for the debug level if a protocol of communications
is required for error analysis. The details are shown in file
"errlog" in directory work
of the appropriate system unit.

defined selection options
Select one of the offered
displays by clicking on the field and with a second click confirming the option
required.
The system offers the
following display types:
Default = 437
Enter the number of the
valid character set for this device. This entry defines the character set which
is to be supported by the connected display.

Button active: Multithreaded is switched on.
Button deactivated: Multithreaded is switched off.
This option is dependent on
the connected device and must be activated or deactivated accordingly.
