Remarks on program function

The data for a Zebra-CPL printer can be updated, i.e. created, changed or deleted, with this program. Data which has already been stored can be displayed.

The Zebra-CPL printer has a WLAN interface and must consequently be operated via interface type TCP/IP.

The settings are made in the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program as follows:

·        Configuration of printer
The printer configuration, and in particular the device’s own TCP/IP and port no., is set up via the software of the device manufacturer and the serial interface cable provided.

·        Configuration of TCP/IP interface
Select a free no. for the device interface in program System -> Configuration ->
Interface type. Make a selection in field "Type" (= IP address) and enter the device’s TCP/IP no. in field Device name. The TCP/IP no. entry can be a combination of the TCP/IP no. and the port no. as follows (e.g. 132.147.234.118:6110).

·        Configuration of Zebra-CPL printer
Select device type "Zebra-CPL printer" in program System -> Configuration ->
Devices from the devices group "Cash printer". Link the interface type "IP address" as device interface to this printer. Please ensure that the TCP/IP no. and the port no. always match the device setting.
