CCV ITS (Electronic Fund Transfer)

The program description deals with the following:

Remarks on program function

The data for an CCV ITS payment terminal can be updated, i.e. created, changed or deleted, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed.

This device must be assigned to a process unit and a device interface from type IP address or Shared IP address. IP address and port number of the Credit server must be entered as follow:  XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:PPPP.

Note:
Payment terminal devices are required for payment with magnetic cards. Further parametering is necessary, e.g. the appropriate Payment type with link of the permitted Credit card, etc., to operate this terminal.

Note:
Only select a value higher than "0" for the debug level if a protocol for communication of the payment terminal is required for error analysis. Details are provided in file "errlog" in directory work of the appropriate system unit.


Usage

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 -  

Default = 1

Enter the number of the terminal in this field. The value entered here must match the value entered in the appropriate payment type, i.e. the payment terminal whose number was entered in the program Payment type is selected.


Events for display

Field with firmly defined selection options

Select one of the display events offered by clicking onto the field and with a second click choosing the required option.

The system offers the following display events:


Max. transaction time (T1)

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999999

Maximum time for whole transaction in milliseconds, default 0 = unlimited, Should be at least 5 minutes (300000).

 

default = 0.


Max. inactivity time (T2)

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999999

Maximum time between message from Oscar and message from terminal, default 50 seconds (50000)

 

Default = 500000 milliseconds


Max. time for keyboard input

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999999

Maximum time for keyboard input will be used if no or a longer timeout has been specified by the terminal.

Default = 40000 milliseconds


Inter-character timeout

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999999

Inter-character timeout between characters belonging to the same message.

 

Default = 1000 milliseconds

 


Delay for re-connect

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999999

Time between closing a connection and re-opening in error cases.

 

Default = 1000 milliseconds


Device request port

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 99999

default = 4102

 

Note:
Port of the (internal) device service the terminal uses to connect for device requests.


Language

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 5 pos.

Default = nl

 

Note:
S
pecifies which language should be used (default: nl).

 


ECR number

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 999999

Entert he number of the connected Terminal..

 

Default = 0


Minimum space for e-journal (KB)

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 99

Enter the amount of the minimum free space on hard disk in KB before Oscar reports memory low to the terminal..


Prefix EJ file

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 255 pos.

Prefix for journal files. Terminal id, date and time of the transaction will be added to the prefix to build the file name of an electronic journal file.

EJ drive path

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 255 pos.

Enter the path and folder of the drive where E-Jornal files will be stored.

 

In contrary to the path (Prefix EJ file) where E-Journals are stored, this path must have fully access from Oscar and will only be used to check the minimum free space of the hard disk for E-Journal files. After the check, the temporary files are deleted.

For the moment, do not change the default (Via terminal) because otherwise recovery from unknown state will not work correctly.

Note:
Please activate the following printer option in program  Terminal -> Add.Data -> Printerpara. table.

 

Additionally an FGL parameter record must be assigned to the terminal in  field FGL Para.Nr. with the Till FGL Para position "EFTInfoOnSalesReceipt" and the value of 1.
