View Carton Details Window

Purpose: Use this window to review the items shipped or transferred to a store location for a ship to store order, including the carriers, tracking numbers, dates, quantities, and carton numbers.

Which cartons are listed? This window lists carton details only if they are in transit to your store location (the next action is Receive). However, if you advance to this window from the View Order Information Screen, the window displays carton details in transit to wherever the ship to store order is going to be picked up.

All information in this window is display-only.

How to display this window: Click Carton Details at the upper right of the View Order Detail Screen, the View Order Information Screen, the Receive Order Detail Screen, or the Pick Up Order Detail Screen.

This window is available only for a ship to store order and opens only if there is at least one item currently in transit.

Fields on this window:

         Header information:

         Order #

         For each carton:

         Carton #: The number assigned by the originating location to identify the carton for shipment or transfer. Blank if no carton number was assigned.

         Tracking #: Blank if the carrier doesn’t use tracking numbers.

         Item #

         Item description: May be truncated if it exceeds the allotted space.

         Intransit Date

         Intransit quantity: The quantity shipped or transferred in the carton. There are separate cartons listed if units shipped separately.

         Carrier: The carrier specified by the originating location.
