Chapter 65: Working with Offer Cross Reference (WOXR)
Purpose: Use the Offer Cross Reference file to establish a link between a "master" offer and other offers to combine data for reporting purposes. This link is informational only.

How to display this screen: Enter WOXR in the Fast Path field at the top of any menu or select the Work with Offer Cross Reference option from a menu.

Master offer |
The offer to which other offers point for reporting purposes. An offer is a code for the catalog, space, or television advertisement from which you accept orders. See Marketing Chapter 2: Working with Offers (WOFR). Alphanumeric, 3 positions. |
Xref offer (Cross-reference offer) |
The code for an offer that points to a "master" offer number for reporting purposes. Multiple offers may point to a single master offer. An offer is a code for the catalog, space, or television advertisement from which you accept orders. Alphanumeric, 3 positions. |

Procedure |
Create a cross-reference record |
Complete each field to create a new record. The system clears the data from the entry fields at the top of the screen and displays the new record in the bottom section of the screen. |
Update or delete a cross-reference record |
Press F8 to switch to entry mode so that you can change a record. Type over the existing information to update it or delete it. |
