Chapter 7: Working with the PCMANASYNC Job

Purpose: The PCMANASYNC job produces the Manifest Audit Error Report. This job supported batch PC manifesting in earlier versions of CWDirect; however, batch PC manifesting is no longer used, as it has been replaced by the PCINTASYNC job and interactive PC manifesting using a socket interface. Although the PCMANASYNC job starts automatically when you start the background jobs, it does not produce anything besides the Manifest Audit Error Report and does not use any system resources if you are using interacting PC manifesting.
