Chapter 10: Canceling a Physical Inventory (CPHI)

Purpose: Use the Physical Inventory Cancel function to cancel a physical inventory batch; for instance, if you discover errors in the batch during the physical inventory process.

How to display this screen: Enter CPHI in the Fast path field at the top of any menu or select Physical Inventory Cancel from a menu.

Field	Description
Control #	The control number assigned to the physical inventory you wish to cancel. Numeric, 3 positions; required.
Batch # (Unlabeled field to the right of the Control number field)	The number assigned to the physical inventory batch you wish to cancel. Numeric, 5 positions; required.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Enter the control number of the physical inventory you wish to cancel in the Control number field

2. Enter the batch number of the physical inventory you wish to cancel in the Batch number field.

3. Press F9 to submit the physical inventory cancel.

4. A message similar to the following displays informing you the physical inventory cancel has been submitted:
