Create precedence rules from the Precedence Rules view.
To create a precedence rule:
On the Project tab, double-click Precedence Rules to open the Precedence Rules view.
The Precedence Rule editor appears.
In the Source Dimension value list, select the dimension that should serve as the trigger for the second, or target, value.
In the Target Dimension list, select the dimension that the source dimension value triggers.
