Use prompts in filters to have the user enter a specific number, date, or text that makes sense for that user. To add a prompt to a filter definition, use the following high-level steps:
Select a prompt type.
Follow the steps in the appropriate prompts topic:
Filtering data on an attribute form: Attribute element list prompts
Filtering data on attributes from a hierarchy: Hierarchical Qualification prompts
Filtering data on an attribute: Attribute qualification prompts
Filtering data on a metric: Metric qualification prompts
Filtering data based on metrics, attributes, or other objects: Object prompts
Filtering data on a single value or string: Value prompts
Add the prompt to the filter definition.
