Use Case: Impersonating a Customer User


This use case lets an agent impersonate a customer user in the Self-Service application. When an agent impersonates a user, the user's Dashboard displays as it appears in the Self-Service application. The agent inherits the same rights and privileges as the user for the impersonation session, and can view the same information and perform the same actions.

Main Path for Impersonating a Customer User

The main path occurs when an agent clicks Impersonate next to a user on the View User's page, and the user's Self-Service Dashboard displays. For details, see Self-Service Application Guide for Oracle Billing Insight.

Alternate Path for Impersonating a Customer User

An alternate path can occur when an agent clicks Impersonate on the View Administrator's page for a company.
