4 POS Synchronization Options

To access POS Synchronization options, you must have the POS Sync privilege assigned.

In the eCommerce Integration Cloud Service, you can synchronize menu items from the POS using the following methods:

• Manual on-demand synchronization: Manually synchronize with the POS. You must use on-demand synchronization for the first synchronization.

• Schedule on-demand synchronization: Schedule an on-demand synchronization to import menu items and menu item prices.

• Automatic synchronization: Enable automatic continuous menu item synchronization with the POS. The automatic synchronization actively searches for new menu item names, prices, and availability in the POS. When the service finds changes, it automatically imports these changes to the eCommerce Integration Cloud Service database to maintain menu item synchronization with the POS.
