Display Inventory Transaction Summary (DITS)
Introduction: The First Inventory Transaction Summary Screen displays summary transaction information by item and warehouse.
Summary records include the transaction code, warehouse, item/SKU numbers, and units/dollars for today, month-to-date, year-to-date, and the item's life-to-date in history.

First Inventory Transaction Summary Screen
Purpose: Use this screen to review summary transaction information by item across all warehouses.
How to display this screen: Enter DITS in the Fast path field at the top of any menu or select Display Inventory Transaction Summary from a menu.

C/D (Code) |
The item transaction code. Enter a valid code to display transactions that match your entry. The following codes that pertain to inventory transactions are supplied with the system: A Adjustment C Customer Return E Express Bill I Issue M Make up Finished Good P Physical R Receiving T Transfer V Return to Vendor The system uses a transaction code of * for changes to the cost of a FIFO layer. See * = Change FIFO Cost. Note: The system does not create a * transaction history record when you update the standard or average cost of an item. See * = Change Average or Standard Cost. See Work with Inventory Transaction Codes (WITC). Alphanumeric, 1 position; optional. |
Whs (Warehouse) |
The number of the warehouse where the transactions took place. See Creating and Maintaining Warehouses (WWHS). Numeric, 3 positions, optional. |
Item |
A code that represents a unit of inventory. Alphanumeric, 12 positions; optional. |
SKU (Item SKU) |
Three separate fields display for the item's SKU. Alphanumeric, three 4-position fields; optional. |
Today |
The inventory transaction units accumulated today for the item/SKU and transaction code. Numeric, 7 positions; display-only, updated by the system. |
MTD (Month-to-date) |
The inventory transaction units accumulated for this period for the item/SKU and transaction code. Numeric, 7 positions; display-only, updated by the system. |
YTD (Year-to-date) |
The inventory transaction units accumulated for this period for the item/SKU and transaction code. Numeric, 7 positions display-only, updated by the system. |
LTD (Life-to-date) |
The inventory transaction units accumulated for this period for the item/SKU and transaction code. Numeric, 7 positions display-only, updated by the system. |

Second Inventory Transaction Summary Screen
Purpose: Use this screen to review the summary information, such as dollars year-to-date, for a specific item/SKU.
How to display this screen: From the First Inventory Transaction Summary Screen, select Display for an item, inventory transaction code, and warehouse record.

Units YTD |
The total number of units accumulated for the current year for the item/SKU and transaction code within the warehouse indicated. Numeric, 7 positions; display-only. |
Units LTD |
The total number of units accumulated life to date for the item/SKU and transaction code within the warehouse indicated. Numeric, 7 positions; display-only. |
Note: The Display Cost in Inventory (A38) secured feature controls the display of the Dollars Today, Dollars MTD, Dollars YTD, and Dollars LTD fields. |

The inventory transaction dollars accumulated for the current date for the item/SKU and transaction code within the warehouse indicated, based on the actual costs from the Inventory Transaction Detail records. Numeric, 11 positions with a 2-place decimal; display-only. |
