Specified Billing Overview
As a Head Contractor, consider choosing the Specified Billing contract setting when creating a subcontract on the system.

Why Use Specified Billing?
If a subcontract uses Specified Billing, the Head Contractor can enter progress claims for Subcontractors. Subcontractors must review the claims and apply their electronic signatures to pay applications, but they will not control the progress claim amounts. As a Head Contractor choose Specified Billing:
- If you want to specify the amounts in your Subcontractors' progress claims
- If a project requires standard billing for each Subcontractor.
