A property is a place of business. A property can have one or more revenue centers within a confined geographic location. For example, a hotel property can have three revenue centers (restaurant, bar, and gift shop), and a shopping mall can have several restaurant revenue centers. Both properties can belong to the same Simphony Enterprise, but each property has separate sales figures, tax information, and other configuration specific to the location.
