Oracle provides guidelines on how to create accessible website.
Oracle recommends that you follow certain guidelines to make your website accessible:
If you use the Media Editor to specify a video file to be displayed on your website:
The video should have a soundtrack that is sufficiently descriptive of the visible content to communicate its meaning fully to an end user who is visually impaired.
To support accessibility for business users, you should upload a caption file for the video and associate it with the video. The captioning will work when the video is previewed in the editor.
To support accessibility for business users and website end users, you should customize the Media editor to include a field for identifying an associated caption file, a field for identifying an associated text file containing an alternative description of the video, and a field for identifying an associated audio file that describes the video. You should also supply these associated files along with any video to be displayed on the site.
If you use the Media Editor to display an image on the website, you should provide text in the Alt Text field, so that Assistive Technology can read the alt text to the user.
