Purpose
Use the Resource Outliers analysis to find outliers based on resources, their location, and the actual costs associated with each individual resource. Currently, one data point per cluster is defined as an outlier. An outlier refers to the data point which is the furthest from the mean of all other values in a location's cluster.Finding an outlier helps determine a possible cause for an anomaly.
- In the Number of Clusters (k) field, enter the number of clusters you want to spread the data across.
- From the View By list select Radar or Table to view an outlier in either format. Data in both formats is displayed above.
The outlier in each cluster is shown in red.
