The Network Requirements pane provides information to prepare the data center network for the integration of the Oracle Private Cloud Appliance.
All internal rack connections are pre-cabled, including non-populated rack units. Cabling should not be modified in any way.
Steps:
The default uplink conguration consists of a total of four physical 10GbE SFP+ cable connections in a crossed pattern. Each of the two spine Cisco Nexus 9336C-FX2 switches must have ports 5/1 and 5/2 connected to a pair of next-level data center switches.
A terminal or workstation with a web browser must be connected to the management network.
Three IP addresses in the public network must be reserved for management node configuration.
The following network configuration details are required.
A table describes the network configuration properties required during the initialization of the Oracle Private Cloud Appliance. An empty column provides space for the administrator to write down the network-specific entries.
