Taking Inventory for Your System
To ensure you take accurate inventory:
- Create a preliminary upgrade questionnaire that includes all configuration elements of your enterprise system.
- Inventory the following:
- Customizations, extensions, and modifications
- Localizations
- Interfaces, APIs, and integrations
- Third-party products
- Hardware
- Software releases and patches, including operating system, database, and P6 EPPM applications
- Copy the current versions and store them for technical change management control.
