PeopleSoft provides its users – the buying organizations – with the ability to interact with their Suppliers and bidders using the Comprehensive Supplier Portal - a centralized location containing multiple tiles used to assist Suppliers and bidders with their daily jobs, organized in two separate Homepages.

The first Homepage, which can be configured to display a selected set of tiles, is generic in nature and not related to any specific Suppliers or bidders. Your organization can configure the system such that external users can access this page through a guest user account without a manual login. See Using the Comprehensive Supplier Public Portal in PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface.

The second Homepage is for use by an organization’s existing Suppliers/bidders – Supplier users – that have their own login configured to access the PeopleSoft application. Various sections may be available in the Homepage, depending on what the administrator has configured to display, and based on the security access granted by the administrator to the Supplier user.

As a buying organization, your system administrator sets up and configures what information you want to display to your Suppliers on the portal pages. For details on setting up content for your Suppliers to view, see Managing Content for the Comprehensive Supplier Portal.

This documentation provides details for the Supplier Role that explains how to use the Public Portal as well as the Secure Supplier Portal.

The section Using the Comprehensive Supplier Secure Portal in PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface is directed to Suppliers, which is documented from the perspective of a Supplier User. This helps the Supplier-users with details in navigating through the Portal.

Note: It is recommended to provide the above section of documentation alone to your Suppliers, which can be used as a reference.

The section Managing Content for the Comprehensive Supplier Portal is directed to your System Administrator, which is documented to help in understanding how to implement the Supplier Portal.
