    About Email Digests

    You don't only have to come to your dashboard to get info on your topics. You can also get it emailed to you.

    Once you have selected a topic or topics to view in a dashboard, in the upper corner of the Summary section, you'll see a SUBSCRIBE / MANAGE: EMAIL DIGEST link.

    Clicking on the EMAIL DIGEST link allows you to subscribe to email digests containing charts for the topic(s) that you see in the Summary section:

    • Activity Chart
    • Share of Voice
    • Content Types
    • Twitter Potential Impressions
    • Twitter Potential Reach
    • Sentiment
    • Influence by Klout Score
    • Top Sources
    • Top Hashtags
    • Top Contributors
    • Top Terms

    You will also see a Recent Mentions by Content Type section.


    Creating an Email Digest

    The topics that appear in an email digest subscription are selected when creating a dashboard, and can contain one or more topics.

    Before subscribing to an email digest, add the topics you'd like in your email digest to your dashboard.

    When you click the EMAIL DIGEST link, the following screen will appear:

    • Subscription Name. Give your subscription a name. We suggest something related to the topics included to help you remember what the subscription is for.
    • Topics Included. Whatever topics you are viewing when you click the Subscribe button will be included in your email digest, so make sure you are viewing the correct ones.
    • Email Addresses. Enter the email addresses of the users you want to be notified with this alert.
      Note: The email address of the user who creates the alert will automatically be added, but it can be removed.
    • Report Frequency. Check the appropriate option to receive daily, weekly, or monthly email digests.
      • Daily: Sent daily after 12:00 AM GMT, and contains metrics for the previous 24 hours.
      • Weekly: Sent after 12:00 AM GMT on Monday, and contains metrics for the previous 7 days.
      • Monthly: Sent after 12:00 AM GMT on the first day of the month, and contains metrics for the previous month.

    Once you have made all your selections, click Save and your subscription will be set. You will receive an email at the frequency you chose, containing a PDF with your metrics.

    If you need your email right away, click Subscribe/Manage. On the Manage Subscriptions page, find the subscription you want, and click Send Daily Email. You'll receive the email within a short time.


    Managing Email Digest Subscriptions

    If you need to make a change to your subscriptions, click Subscribe/Manage. At the top of the screen, you'll see a Manage My Subscriptions link. Clicking this link takes you to a page that lists all the subscriptions you have. You can edit or delete your subscriptions on this page.

    To modify or unsubscribe from email digest subscriptions:
    1. Go to the Listen Topics page and click on SUBSCRIBE / MANAGE: EMAIL DIGEST link.
    2. Click on the Manage Subscriptions link in the Subscribe to Listen & Analyze dialog.
    3. From the Manage Subscriptions page, you can edit a subscription or delete a subscription. You can also have the email digest sent immediately by clicking the Send Email link.
