Which Elements Do I Need to Specify in the Statement Definition and Versions?

The statement definition for the consolidated income statement must include the row definitions that you created for the statement and the four column definitions that you created. When you add subtotal lines to the statement definition, you will specify which sections in the statement definition to include in the subtotals. No other parameters are set up in the statement definition.

You will set up a layout version to use to generate the data sample that the process passes to the Layout Editor. You use the sample data when you set up your layout so that you can preview how the statement will look when you generate the Consolidated Income Statement.
