Where to View Digital Badges
Managers and employees can view employees' awarded digital badges through various HCM features.
They include:
- Team Recognition (also used by managers to award badges) and Recognition.
- Directory
- My Team
- Team Snapshot, View Snapshot (for administrators), and Career Snapshot
- Team Talent Profile and Talent Profile
These access points ensure employee achievements are visible and celebrated across the organization, helping to drive engagement and foster talent development.
Administrators can view and grant digital badges using the View and Award Badges Page.
Note:
Oracle plans to add support for Digital Badges in Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) in the future, allowing badges to be automatically issued when employees complete learning modules, certifications, or required training.
Recognition
Managers can award badges to team members as part of creating recognitions in Team Recognition. When adding a recognition, a manager can grant a badge that matches the recognition's category and impact values.
Managers can view details of badges that team members have earned through recognition posts from the Team Recognition pages.
Employees can view details of badges they have earned through recognition posts from the Recognition pages.
Changing the visibility of a recognition does not affect the display of its badge in the system. However, if a recognition is deleted, or reported and hidden, its badge will not be displayed.
Recognition badge reason text originates from the corresponding recognition post and will be displayed publicly. Do not enter sensitive information that should not be visible on the badge.

Directory
Directory provides an organization-wide location to view an employee's digital badges from the employee's directory profile. When an employee has badges, they appear on the PeopleSoft Human Resources Administer Workforce: Profile - Digital Badges Page; if the employee has no badges, the page does not display.
My Team
My Team provides managers with an entry point to view digital badges for their team members. From My Team, a manager can select the View Digital Badges related action to access the View Digital Badges Page and review employees' awarded badges.
Team Snapshot, View Snapshot, and Career Snapshot
Team Snapshot enables managers to view digital badges for their team members. View Snapshot enables administrators to view digital badges for any selected employee, and Career Snapshot enables employees to view their own earned badges. From each snapshot, users can access an employee’s badge list from the Digital Badges tile on the Summary dashboard or from the Recognition and Digital Badges dashboard.

Team Talent Profile and Talent Profile
In Team Talent Profile (for managers) and Talent Profile (for employees), users can view digital badges awarded for items such as earned licenses/certifications or honors/awards that are added or updated in an employee's profile.
