Sending and Receiving Ad Hoc Notifications

The system sends notifications automatically as part of standard workflow routings. The behavior of Notify in classic pages is based on how the system administrator sets the web profile.

If the web profile is set to launch the fluid notify behavior, the Notify button will open a fluid Notify page. See Sending Ad Hoc Notifications Using Notification Configuration and Receiving Ad Hoc Notifications Using Notification Configuration. On classic pages, the default is to use the fluid notify feature

If the web profile is set to launch the classic workflow notify behavior, Notify will open a classic Notify page which is worklist-based notify. See Sending Ad Hoc Notifications and Using Worklists to Receive Ad Hoc Notifications
