Use the Knowledge Base Tool with MCP

The recipe Oracle Integration - OpenSearch Build and Search Your Knowledge Base includes a tool KnowledgeBaseSearchTool, with optimized description and guidelines for knowledge bases. The tool is based on the integration KnowledgeBaseSearch.

Prerequisites:

• Install the Recipe: Oracle Integration - OpenSearch Build and Search Your Knowledge Base
• Create a Knowledge Base
• Specify the Knowledge Base in the KnowledgeBaseSearch Integration

1. In the navigation pane, select Projects.
2. Select the project Build and Search Your Knowledge Base.
3. Enable MCP for the project to make your knowledge base tool discoverable. See Enable MCP for the Project.
