Use the Knowledge Base Tool with MCP

When you create a knowledge base, the agentic AI tool KnowledgeBaseSearchTool is created, with optimized description and guidelines for knowledge bases. The tool is based on the integration KnowledgeBaseSearch.

Prerequisites:

• Create a Knowledge Base
• Specify the Knowledge Base in the KnowledgeBaseSearch Integration

1. In the navigation pane, select Projects.
2. Select the project that contains your knowledge base.
3. Enable MCP for the project to make your knowledge base tool discoverable. See Enable MCP for the Project.
