2 Import the Sample Metadata Files

To complete this leaning path, you must import the following metadata files into the Planning sample application:

• Account.txt

• Entity.txt

• Product.txt

• Version.txt

Each file contains members that will be added to the Account, Entity, Product, and Version dimensions. To keep these members separate from the main hierarchy, we will create a parent member for each dimension before importing the contents of the metadata files.

Complete these steps to import the sample metadata files:

1. Create Parent Members for the Account, Entity, Product, and Version Dimensions

2. Import the Contents of the Metadata Files

3. Ensure that the Metadata Imported Correctly
