Getting Help

If there are any issues related to Intelligent Performance Management that you cannot resolve yourself, seek help from Oracle Support.

Submit the following:

  • Use the Provide Feedback utility to gather the information that Oracle Support needs to identify and fix your problem. Optionally, consent to submitting the snapshot to Oracle. See Creating a Provide Feedback Submission.

  • Submit a technical service request indicating the reference number that the Provide Feedback utility created. See Submitting a Technical Service Request.

    In the service request, answer these questions:

    • Did this issue start after the latest monthly update?

    • When was the issue first observed?

    • Was there any recent application or usage change that could have caused this issue?

  • Provide the following information along with the service request:

    • Snapshot of the environment, if available, from the last time when the environment was functioning or performing as expected.

    • Whether this is a critical outage.

  • Provide the following additional information:

    • Is the issue related to Enabling AI, Advanced Predictions, Auto Predict, IPM Insights, Bring your own ML, or Predictive Planning?
    • If the issue is related to Advanced Predictions, provide the following additional information:
      • Are the drivers and target account data available for at least 18–24 months?
      • Is your driver data co-related to the target account you have configured for prediction?
      • Is the job completing successfully, and are the predictions being generated?
      • Is the prediction job configured to predict at the Dynamic Parent level?
      • Do you have driver data for future periods?
      • How many series of data is the job configured to predict?
    • If the issue is related to Auto Predict, provide the following additional information:
      • How much historical data (months/years) is available?
      • Is your prediction job configured for both prediction and Insights?
      • Did the Auto Predict job run successfully, and are the forecast results written to the correct scenario/version?
    • If the issue is related to IPM Insights, provide the following additional information:
      • What Insight type is affected—Anomaly, Forecast Variance and Bias, or Prediction?
      • Is historical data complete, consistent, and available for the affected POV (scenario/version/period)?
      • Is the Insight job completing successfully without errors?
    • If the issue is related to Predictive Planning, provide the following additional information:
      • Does the form use any dynamic parent accounts in the POV or rows/columns?
      • Have you specified the correct source POV if your actuals reside in a scenario/version other than Actual, Working?
      • Have you modified any of the default Predictive Planning settings?
